Maestro Special Laser Probes in various wavelengths and Powers.

CCM Special Laser Probe 635nm

This Laser probe is used mainly for superficial skin and mucous applications. It operates in the "Red" range with the major portion of energy being absorbed in 3 - 5 mms with minimal penetration into tissue. The probe can be ordered in 3 - 7 - 15 mW versions.

CCM UNIVERSAL Laser Probe 670 nm

Featuring deeper penetration (up to 2 cms.), the CCM 670nm laser probe can be used for superficial applications as well as for irradiation of tissue structures and smaller joints. These probes are optimal for universal use and for acupuncture. they can be ordered in 3 - 10 - 20 - 25 - 40 mW versions.

CCM INFRARED Laser Probe 830 nm

These high power probes have the ability to penetrate deep into the tissue (average 5 and more cms). Available in power outputs of 20 - 30 - 40 - 80 - 100 - 300 450 mW and the new adjustable power output probe.

The ALL-NEW for 2006 Maestro CCM Cluster Probes

These all-new state of the art probes are available in a wide variety of configurations to meet all therapy needs. They combine high-power and technical expertise to meet the most demanding needs of the laser therapist.

CCM Quatro is a new accessory for MAESTRO therapy laser system. It is a multilaser cluster probe dedicated for surface irradiation. CCM Quatro was designed for fast and successful treatment of larger surfaces e.g. burns or dermatitis, joints. Due to the high power cluster laser probe CCM Quatro saves time duration of therapy and increases its efficiency. Operation of CCM Quatro is very easy, similar to single CCM laser probe.  Thanks to the blue aiming diodes irradiated area is brightly visible thru protective glasses.  CCM Quatro is operated by MAESTRO or SMART control units.

CLUSTER PROBES:

CCM Quatro 670nm/320mW (4x80mW)

CCM Quatro 830nm/720mW (4x180mW)

CCM Quatro 670nm/320mW + 830nm/450mW (4x80mW + 1x450mW)

Maestro Laser Scanner "LineScan"

Maestro Line Scan

The Maestro "LineScan" is used for the automatic applications of laser therapy on larger body surfaces. It saves the therapist both time and effort because it is highly effective with a minimum of operator intervention. It features:

  • An even irradiation of the treatment area with the application of accurate energy dosages
  • Frequency modulation that is incrementally adjustable for the chosen diagnosis
  • Continuous wave as well as pulsed frequency mode
  • The Maestro "LineScan" is available in two models: 670nm (visible) and 830nm (IR) + 670mW/2mW (aiming beam)

Medicom Frequently Asked Questions

Is laser therapy safe?
Laser therapy is completely safe. The FDA has classified low level laser therapy devices as "non-significant risk medical devices" They pose no health risk to the patient provided that protective eyewear is worn. THIS IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE SAFE USE OF THE DEVICES! Normal precautions should be followed like with any medical procedure. All of our laser therapy devices are supplied with two sets of protective eyewear.

Which probes are recommended? MediCom manufacturers thirteen different types of CCM Laser Probes to provide the therapist with the best possible laser source for the condition being treated ranging from superficial skin disorders  to deep muscle therapy. Each therapist can choose the probe with the most suitable wavelength and output and not be dependent on "universal" parameters of a standard laser unit.

Can both probes work simultaneously? No. Although two laser probes, or a laser probe for point therapy and a scanner for large area treatment, can be connected to the unit simultaneously, the therapist may work with only one probe at a time. He can readily choose which probe is most suitable for the condition being treated without changing probes.

What power output is the best one? The most important parameter of a laser probe is its wavelength which determines the depth of penetration. Lower output may be, to a certain extent, balanced by longer time of exposure. Higher output is recommended for IR laser probes that are required to penetrate deeply for pain management and in treating musculoskeletal conditions.

What are the presets then good for? They offer the researcher the ability to store custom therapy parameters developed based upon the individual condition or needs of the patient or for repeating specialized treatment of the same patient. By entering custom protocols into memory, you save time and effort and assure accurate repetition of treatment parameters.

What accessories can your MAESTRO be equipped with? Besides the wide variety of CCM Laser Probes and the two available auxiliary "LineScan' scanners, options include a linear head for large area therapy, rigid light guides, additional electronic keys and additional protective eyewear.

THESE DEVICES ARE INTENDED FOR INVESTIGATIONAL AND CLINICAL TRIAL USE ONLY UNDER IRB GUIDELINES.
