Often referred to as Low Level Laser Therapy or LLLT, clinical trials of power diode laser systems have shown them to be effective. LLLT powered power laser procedures do not cut or burn into the skin or affected areas-they stimulates the tissues and promote healing by penetrating deep into the tissues initializing the process of photobiostimulation. The patient feels no discomfort related to the procedure. The light energy from the low level laser is absorbed in cytochromes and porphyries within cell mitochondria and cell membranes. A small amount of Signet Oxygen is produced as a result of the absorption. This is combined with a number of other factors to produce healing as demonstrated by the positive results achieved in the thousands of clinical studies conducted world wide.
While thoroughly tested in many countries outside the U.S., our LLLT powered diode laser therapy has not been approved nor disapproved by the FDA. They are intended for clinical research in conjunction with Institutional Review Board review and approval (by a duly-constituted IRB.) Laser Therapeutics and Levelaser will continue to develop and market new, original, state-of-the-art products to meet the ever-changing, ever more sophisticated requirements of the worlds medical markets and to bring relief to millions of patients world-wide.
